Louis Vuitton Foundation
Jardin d’Acclimatation, Paris, France
The Louis Vuitton Foundation pour la Création is developing a museum for contemporary art. Designed by Gehry Partners, it will be situated between the Bois de Boulogne and the Jardin d’Acclimatation, on the westside of Paris.
The museum includes a 300 to 350 seat multipurpose theater overlooking the cascading ponds that connect the building to the park. The theater shall serve functions ranging from lectures, press conferences and product presentations to concerts, amplified and non-amplified. With its direct connection to the art galleries, it will also be suitable for artist installations involving extensive use of video and sound projection.
The scenography design includes a multitude of configurations using an extensive elevator system. We also design infrastructure for theater lighting, and audio, video and media infrastructure for the theater, the temporary exhibition spaces, and for a few outdoor features that are integrated in the landscaping of the project.
