Sound, image, media
We provide system design services for reinforcement and recording of sound and image. We do this for theaters, concert spaces and convention centers, but also for museums, and expositions.
In our designs we put (signal) quality first, but also assure the integration of the system design with the configuration of the event. Reinforced sound is localised near the actual source, and image magnification needs to fit in the overal image of the event. The visibility of the systems and equipment must be logical and integrate in the architectural language. Sometimes this means making things invisible, and other times we make them visible in a particular way - we enjoy both approaches.
For recording, we developed an infrastructure approach that covers both in-situ recordings as well as broadcasts that 'dock' to the building. Our international experience with many broadcast organizations continues to shape and sharpen this approach.
In the design of audio systems, we have a direct dialogue with the acousticians, to better understand the character of the room and to determine the best design approach, not only for the loudspeaker systems, but also for any variable acoustical systems there may (need to) be.
We also work closely with the users to better understand how they (want to) work. This is the best way to ensure that the final system design is used in the best, and most musical way, possible.
