King Kong laureate Chapelle Corneille
26 November 2011
King Kong have won the competition for the design of a 600-seat auditorium inside the early 17th century “Chapelle Corneille” in Rouen.
The new concert and rehearsal space will be dedicated to baroque and chamber music. The audience will be seated around the ensemble. Choir seating behind the central stage will double as audience seating.
dUCKS was involved in the concept design and will work on “all things scenography” for the remainder of the project.
The project will start (re)construction in 2013.
