Laureate SMAC Borderouge

Gouwy Grima Rames have won de design competition for a new music building for popular music (Scène Musiques ACtuelles) in Borderouge, just north of Toulouse. The project includes a performance space for 500 visitors.

The SMAC is to provide place and space for the development of popular music in the region. In addition to a concert platform, several rehearsal and reseach facilities, and a small-scale residency, offer music groups professional tools to develop their productions.

dUCKS contributed to the scenography concepts of the design, and provided the outline design for the suspension systems, stage lighting and audiovisual systems.
