Finalists Odyssey 21

18 May 2010

Foreseen in the building designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel, four teams competed for the design of its content: a permanent exposition for Le Havre’s Sea and Sustainable Development Centre.

The 3 000 m² exposition over multiple levels focusses on modern shipping and navigation, the technical complexities and development of the harbor, its economic role, and the balance between the economic activities of the harbor and the fragility of the environment of the coastal areas.

dUCKS was part of a larger competition team of scenographers, museographers, lighting designers and graphic designers as co-conceptor of the scenography of the exposition, the multimedia installations and as technical designer for all stage, sound and special lighting systems.

Architect: Ateliers Jean Nouvel
Scenographers: Du&Ma, dUCKS scéno
