Jinan Cultural Center

We have been invited to join the team of Paul Andreu and Richez Associes for the design of the Cultural Center of Jinan, in Shandong Province, China. Jinan will become the main stop on the new high speed rail connection between Beijing and Shanghai.
The center is situated in a new park on top of a new metro line that connect the new railway station to the city center. The project includes a concert hall, an opera theater and a blackbox theater, along with rehearsal spaces, workshops, et cetera. The masterplan for the area also includes a museum.
The project planning is on a very fast track. The foundation work is scheduled to start in the fall.
